At Hanna Gender Center, we believe that you shouldn’t have to worry about the financial burden while seeking the best available gender-affirming surgical care. In our efforts to put your mind at ease, our team has cultivated several options to assist you with surgery financing. Please explore the overview below to find a solution that fits your needs.

Insurance

Our clinic does accept insurance to cover the transgender and non-binary procedures we perform. Currently, we accept a variety of carriers, including:
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • United Healthcare
  • Medicaid*
  • TRICARE**

We also accept a select few other insurance providers to ensure your surgery financing. If your provider isn’t on this list, reach out to our team for confirmation.

*Please note that not all Medicaid policies provide coverage. Some states have explicit exclusionary policies for transgender and non-binary patients. However, we will do our best to work with you and with your insurance coverage to meet your needs. Our philosophy is that care should not be restricted to those with premium commercial healthcare coverage but should be available to all. Cash/Financing

Our cash prices and surgery financing are competitive within the transgender and non-binary space.
