What to Expect

At Hanna Gender Center, we strive to deliver a comfortable, safe experience for every patient. When you come in for your Genius RF microneedling appointment, you can expect a technician to cleanse your skin and apply a topical anesthetic. After letting the anesthetic take effect (usually within an hour), they will enter your personal information into the device to ensure the appropriate presets and needle sizes. We will then use the device to stamp your treatment area two to three times with the needles to transmit heat into your lower skin layer.

What do Lutronic Genius treatments feel like?

The Genius device uses both needles and heat to penetrate the first layer of skin and deliver the treatment you need to the affected area. Most patients find the sensation tolerable, but we ensure your comfort with a topical anesthetic that should remove most of the sensation.

How It Works

How Long is the Service?

Treatments with this device take about 30 minutes. The exact length of treatment depends on your needs.

How Long is Recovery?

You will experience redness for several hours. Bruising, swelling, bleeding, and stamp marks should fade within three or four days.

You may see improvements within a few days, but the full effects will not be apparent until 3-6 months post-treatment.
